1. How to change an adjective into negative form

Non- Past
	い-Adjective	な- Adjective
Affirmative	たかいです	しずかです
Negative	たかくないです	しずかではありません

2. How to join two adjectives.

*When い-adje is used in the first sentence, 「い」of the い-adj changes into「くて」, while when な-adj is used in the first sentence, particle「で」is attached after な-adj

E.g . あたらしいです。＋　きれいです。→　あたらしくてきれいです

きれいです。＋　あたらしいです。→　きれいであたらしいです。

3. 「A　はどうですか」　:  "How is/about A?"

4.「あまり＋negative」　: Not very ~

* 「あまり」must be used with negative form

5.「ひとつ、うたつ、...とお」

This expression is most generally used in counting numbers

• Thing　が　quantity　あります。
• Combining two sentences　:　Use　「と」

りんごが　ふたつ　あります。　すいかが　ひとつ　あります。

→　りんごが　ふたつと　うしかが　ひとつ　あります。

6.　「いくつ」　:　How many

* There are other words to be used for " How many" depending on what you are counting.

E.g 「なんさつ」　:　How many (books, magazines, etc.)

• 「いくら」　:　How much

7.　「A　を　ください。」　:　Give me,  please~.

8. 

• 　「A 　は　B 　が　すきです。」　:　A likes B
• 　「A 　は　B　が　きらいです。」　:　A dislikes B.
• 　「A　は　B　が　いいです。」　:　For A, B would be good. (A decides on B)
